Insight Chips delivers system to Prof. Sara Bals at EMAT

Prof. Sara Bals' research group is leading in electron tomography and 3D reconstruction, which is exactly the skills they aim to employ using our Nano Channel Chips to uncover new insights in the creation of chiral structures on 'nanoscrews'

What makes Insight Chips' solution relevant for this European Research Council (ERC) project is our Nano Channel Chips' ability to maintain high resolution while flushing in new reagents into the field of view. It is with this process that the change in surface morphology can be observed, as chiral structures grow on nanoparticles as visualized in the image below.
