Insight Chips visits the National Center for Electron Microscopy at the famous Berkeley Lab!

We were thrilled to be invited to the center for an intensive 3-day session of experiments with leading scientists Peter Ercius, Haimei Zheng, Diyi Cheng, and Chun Chang.

The experiments yielded intriguing results, which we hope can be published soon.

We demonstrated how a (for now, secret) sample's morphology evolves as water floods a Nano Channel Chip containing a dry sample.

Also sharing some photos from the site here, as Berkeley Lab has an astonishing view from a mountain top. In clear weather, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge and the city of San Francisco.
